Todd Grisham Leaving WWE For ESPN

WWE announcer Todd Grisham is taking his talents north on Route 8 to ESPN, according to PWInsider.com.

The seven-year WWE veteran called his final show for the sports entertainment company Tuesday night.

Grisham’s broadcast partner, William Regal, wrote the following on Twitter:

“I would like to thank @todd_grisham for all his help get me through NXT.Best wishes for your new career at ESPN.”

In addition to his work with the WWE, Grisham has been the host of Fox Soccer Channel’s Major League Soccer broadcasts since 2007.

Grisham will have at least one friend in Bristol as former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman has been at ESPN since 2008.

Something tells me we won’t have to worry about Michael Cole hosting SportsCenter anytime soon.
