Ford: Too Late For The Morning Papers ABC's early A.M. newscast World News Now samples the day's newspapers every morning. Today, Hari Sreenivasan pointed out that many papers were stale by the time they reached newsstands:"All the lead papers, they all went to press late last night, before the news of Gerald Ford came out. Of course you'll see in the Washington Post and USA Today the big story was Saddam Hussein, hanging within 30 days. Of course that's not the big story anymore.
