There were many correspondents at the Conventions this year, but one show — Late Night with Conan O’Brien — sent a dog. Triumph the Insult Comic Dog made his presence known, chatting with several tvnewsers during one of the segments that aired last week (see all of Triumph’s reports at the Late Night web site).

Triumph talks to Wolf Blitzer and Andrea Mitchell and Anderson Cooper, among others. (Cooper gets some jokes in himself. When Triumph says he watched Obama’s speech on MSNBC because he works for NBC, Cooper said, “You were the one!”) Triumph also takes some jabs at MSNBC and FNC that we’re going to refrain from writing about ourselves — there’s your warning about the video:
