Turning the Page

todaypage-3-24.jpgIt’s the end of an era at NBC, as the 75-year-old NBC page program gets a much-needed makeover. This morning on the Today show, a six-minute fashion segment also doubled as a call for viewers to help choose the new threads.

Co-anchor Natalie Morales and Today show style editor Bobbie Thomas introduced each of the three looks, as current NBC pages modeled the outfits. Goodbye to the hideous peacock tie and awful polyester, hello to Brooks Brothers suits and some special features (sleeve pocket to hold an ID card! secret cell phone pocket slider!).

Voting on the three designs is open until March 31, with the winning uniform announced on April 2. This former page is A) jealous and B) going with option #3.

Click continued to see the segment, complete with a brief NBC page history to help inform your decision…
