TVNewser Heading to ‘CHICAGOLAND’

ChicagoLandTVNewser’s Alissa Krinsky will be at the premiere of CNN’s “CHICAGOLAND” Tuesday night in, appropriately, Chicago.

The eight-episode non-fiction series is produced by actor Robert Redford and Laura Michalchyshyn from Sundance Productions, along with Marc Levin and Mark Benjamin of BCTV, and depicts the intersection of politics and policy in Chicago—and how it impacts real peoples lives.

Episodes begin this Thursday at 10pmET and will re-air Saturday at 8pm and 11pmET and Sundays at 10pm and 1amET.

The series will explore Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s back-and-forth negotiations with the Chicago Public Schools in his attempt to consolidate schools in order to modernize the city.

Look for Alissa’s report from the premiere next week on TVNewser. A preview of “CHICAGOLAND” after the jump…
