Two Network News Execs Named McCormick Fellows
Crystal Johns, the director of career development and diversity recruiting at CBS News and Javier Morgado, supervising producer of NBC’s Today show have been selected as 2009 McCormick Fellows.
The McCormick Fellowship selects minority news media executives as part of the Media Management Center at Northwestern University. This year 29 people applied, eight were selected and two, Johns and Morgado, come from network broadcast journalism.
90 media executives have completed the one-year program since its founding in 1998.
