Two Newsers Crack THR ‘Next Gen’ List
Two TV news staffers made The Hollywood Reporter‘s “Next Gen 2012″ list, which profiles up and coming movers and shakers in Hollywood and the entertainment business.
ABC News White House producer Mary Bruce made the cut, as did MSNBC “Rachel Maddow Show” senior producer Mike Yarvitz. The pair were asked about their accomplishements, habits and guilty pleasures.
From Bruce:
BIG BREAK: ABC News Radio’s Ann Comptonrecommended I apply for a job as an ABC news desk assistant. She said it wasn’t glamorous but would get my foot in the door. It did.
From Yarvitz:
BIGGEST 2012 ACCOMPLISHMENT: Getting nominated for a second Emmy and then losing. Thanks a lot, Anderson Cooper!
