Who would have suspected that ESPN’s Bob Ley was a spoken word superstar just waiting for the right vehicle to unleash his hidden talent? The inspiration he needed was apparently Jay-Z‘s ‘Blow the Whistle,’ which Ley recites with the appropriate tenor of streetwise diss during an Outside the Lines segment today, helpfully providing some background on DeShawn Stevenson‘s war of words with LeBron James. I feel confident in saying it’ll be the most enjoyable thing you’ll hear all day.
