Walk on Makes Good

It wasn’t a great weekend for The Ohio State University’s men’s basketball team – the No. 2 team fell at Purdue – but one of their most famous alums had himself an okay time. Mark Titus, walk-on extraordinaire, got himself a deal… a book deal.

“My book contract w/ @doubledaypub has been signed. “Don’t Put Me In, Coach” will be out about a year from now. Do what you want w/ that info,” he tweeted.

Titus, whose epic Mr. Rainmaker is almost certainly responsible for the slate of trick shot videos, first came into fame and (not so much) fortune because of his blog, Club Trillion. He put Club Tril on hold in January to work on the book.

Unrelated, but probably relevant: Odds he’s involved with the Bill Simmons‘ editorial project? Extremely good.
