Walters Defends Shuster on The View
Huffington Post has the video of the latest TVNewser to comment on the David Shuster suspension, Barbara Walters. This morning on The View, she defended Shuster over his comments about Chelsea Clinton on Friday.
Although Walters did not say the suspension was unwarranted, she felt Sen. Hillary Clinton took it too far when she emailed MSNBC after the suspension was in effect.
“Perhaps I feel this because of the years, and all of you, we are live, and sometimes you say something unfortunate,” she said. “You apologize, he’s getting suspended, he apologized, MSNBC apologized. Drop it already! It’s OK. He made a mistake.”
