Weekends of Grace

First on TVNewser: CNN Headline News will begin airing repeats of Nancy Grace‘s legal show on the weekends next month, TVNewser has learned. Beginning in January, the Saturday and Sunday evening programs will be a “best of the week” compilation of Grace’s weekday broadcasts. Staffers created promos for the weekend repeats a few days ago.

The move may signal HLN’s desire to become more competitive on the weekends. According to these charts provided by MSNBC, HLN has averaged 76,000 viewers in the 25-54 demo (weekends between 7pm and 2am, post-Katrina). A HLN spokesperson did not respond to TVNewser’s request for confirmation this afternoon…
