Which Broadcasters Have the Most ‘Buzz?’

MarketWatch.com’s Jon Friedman counts down his top 12 broadcasters that are “making a difference,” or in other words:

Let me put it this way. If any one of these folks walked through Michael’s restaurant — the hub in Manhattan for the media industry — at lunch time, heads would turn. That, more than anything else, is my main criterion for determining who has the buzz.

So which newsers made the list? “CBS Evening News” anchor Katie Couric came in at #2, and Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck was #4.

Other newsers to make the list included “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, FBN’s Charlie Gasparino and CNBC’s Erin Burnett and Maria Bartitomo.
