While Some Anchors Go South, Harry Smith Heads North

The Early Show’s Harry Smith is on his way to Alaska where he will interview Chuck and Sally Heath, Gov. Sarah Palin‘s parents. The interview will happen tomorrow at their home in Wasilla, Alaska, and will be broadcast on The Early Show Monday.

Smith’s colleague Katie Couric will be spending part of the weekend with Palin and with Sen. John McCain for interviews that will air on the Evening News Monday and Tuesday.
