White Male Syndrome?

An e-mailer asks a question about Good Morning America: “How does a program that is so heavily dependent on female viewers, is anchored by two female anchors, depends mightily on a young female staff of producers, and is basically focused on mommy and cheerleader stories and softer side of news need two middle aged white men in charge?”

A second e-mailer adds this: “Did anyone else notice that the Murphy/Cibrowski appointments mean that once again, the EPs of all three network morning shows (plus their bosses at the Griffin/Murphy/Friedman level) AND the EPs of all three network nightly news programs are white males?…”
