This line from the NBC Nightly News ratings release is worth highlighting:

“According to television industry analyst Andrew Tyndall, ‘Nightly News’ had the most hard news during the week of October 16-20, 2006 with 49 minutes, CBS had 39 minutes, while ABC only had 36 minutes.”
