Will ABC News Be Denied Interviews with Pres. Obama?

Tapper_9.16.jpgThis morning on “Good Morning America”, White House Correspondent Jake Tapper had a story about Pres. Obama’s “massive publicity blitz,” giving eight interviews over the course of two weeks, with the hope of sealing the deal on healthcare reform.

Tapper says the the president “risks overexposure.” A point not sitting well with the White House. In fact, Tapper wrapped up his report saying, “asked for a comment from ABC News about this story, the White House said they would be happy to deny all of ABC News’ interview requests for the president, for the rest of the year. They were joking… I think.”

Diane Sawyer appeared to gasp at the thought, then added, “We do all want interviews with him so we can ask him why he’s being interviewed so much.”
