After rethinking his own retirement, Charles Gibson‘s World News will examine why many other Americans are as well. This week, in conjunction with USA Today, ABC’s World News will air a special series called “Rethinking Retirement.”

Tomorrow, ABC’s Betsy Stark examines the growing phenomenon of people who want to retire but simply can’t because of the weak economy. Tuesday, Erin Hayes reports on the sacrifices being made by today’s retirees, and on Wednesday, Ryan Owens looks at new places and new ways to retire.
