We were wondering what @JakeTapper was tweeting about this afternoon when he wrote:

the sound: CRASH!!! just happened. kind of jarring.

Now we know. During a speech in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building this afternoon, one of Pres Obama’s two glass prompters fell from its stand, crashing to the floor.

And remember what VP Biden said a couple months ago about the President’s teleprompter??
