Wx Channel #1 During Wilma Weekend

The Weather Channel beat FNC in the weekend ratings race. Quoting their press release:

“According to Nielsen Media Research, the total day (5 a.m.-2 a.m.) HH rating for The Weather Channel on Saturday, October 22 was a 0.91 and on Sunday, October 23 was a 1.0. Fox News had a 0.86 rating on Saturday and a 0.97 on Sunday. Saturday’s 0.91 rating on Saturday represented 901,000 households tuned in to The Weather Channel, compared to 859,000 households for Fox. The 1.0 rating for The Weather Channel on Sunday represented over 1 million households compared to 971,000 households for Fox.”
