After 8 Years as GM, Ardyth Diercks Out at WTVJ
After eight years as president and general manager of WTVJ in Miami, Ardyth Diercks has left the NBC O&O.
“Earlier this year, Ardyth Diercks left NBC 6 Miami to explore other professional and personal ventures,” an NBC spokesperson told TVSpy. “We’re grateful for her service over the last eight years and wish her the best in all her future endeavors.”
A job posting for WTVJ’s president and general manager was added to the NBC Universal website on January 13.
Prior to joining WTVJ in 2003, Diercks served as president and general manager of WUSA in Washington, DC, KSDK in St. Louis and KVUE in Austin. She began her career in local television, which has spanned more than 25 years, at KUSA in Denver.
