“I have moved from the anchor desk to the corner office,” Christine Brown said, announcing her role change at KNDU-KNDO in Yakima, WA.

Brown, who has been an anchor and reporter in Washington for the past 28 years, is moving from her role as anchor and news director at KNDU-KNDO to become general manager.  Shane Edinger, Brown’s co-anchor, has been named news director and the station has hired a new evening anchor.

“I have so enjoyed sharing the news of our local community,” Brown told viewers in a message posted on the KNDU-KNDO website.  Thank you for inviting me into your home each evening.
