Ann Mercogliano Finds a New Home in NYC Market, Going from WNBC to WCBS

As our friends at FishbowlNY reported this morning, Ann Mercogliano has departed WNBC, the New York City NBC O&O, for WCBS,  the New York City CBS O&O.

Mercogliano was a reporter for WNBC’s afternoon lifestyle show, “New York Live.” She occasionally reported for the weekend newscasts. She will join WCBS on August 1 as a general assignment reporter.

Mercogliano’s bio has already been taken down from the WNBC website. She has been active on Twitter, responding to fans who have offered her well-wishes and thanking them for her support.

“I am [leaving],” she wrote to one fan. “But just going down the street. Stay tuned.”
