Anne Craig Joins New Haven’s WTNH As Reporter, Weekend Anchor

Anne Craig, who left New York City’s WNYW in April after her contract was not renewed, has joined WTNH as a reporter and weekend anchor.

Craig left WNYW, the Fox owned-and-operated station in New York City, after eight years as a general assignment reporter with a focus on entertainment.

“Anne is a proven journalist and anchor who will complement the strongest and most experienced team of reporters, anchors and photographers in Connecticut broadcasting,” managing editor John Bell said in a statement. “Anne is a terrific addition to the News 8 team.”

Before joining WNYW, Craig also worked at WOFL, the Fox O&O in Orlando. Her first day at the Hartford-New Haven ABC affiliate is today.
