‘Bethenny’ Sold to Fox Stations, Slated for National Launch in 2013
Following a six-week trial run on Fox O&Os, Bethenny Frankel’s talk show has been slated for a national syndication launch next year, Fox Television and Warner Brothers announced today.
“Bethenny” debuted in June for a six-week test on Fox O&Os in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas, Phoenix and Minneapolis. Across all six markets, the show improved on the previous month by +100% in the A25-54 demographic and by +80% among women A25-54.
“This is what can happen if you put something different in daytime – the ratings prove it,” Frank Cicha, SVP of programming for Fox Television Stations, said in a statement. “Throughout this test, the Bethenny program pushed boundaries, overhauling traditional talk topics with an energy and freshness we haven’t seen in a long time.”
“Bethenny” will debut on 17 Fox O&Os (see a list after the jump) and will be offered to stations in the remaining markets nationwide for a national syndication launch in 2013.
