Bill Price to Retire After 26 Years at WCPO

After 26 years at WCPO, reporter Bill Price (pictured) will retire from the Cincinnati ABC affiliate next month.

“I would like to thank Bill for his many years of service and dedication. Bill will only be on the job until December 9th but he will always be part of the 9 On Your Side family,” news director Lane Michaelsen said in a statement to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The Enquirer also reports WCPO has hired Larry Smith as a multimedia journalist and weekend co-anchor. Smith joins the station from Turner Sports, where he was a freelance anchor. He will co-anchor the weekend evening newscasts with Julie O’Neill.
