Antwan Lewis

Lewis joined WNYW in 2010 as a general assignment reporter. Since January, he has anchored the station’s early morning newscast alongside Juliet Huddy. Lewis has also worked at WGN in Chicago and KTVK in Phoenix.

WNYW will rotate reporters and anchors to fill in on the early morning newscast until a new co-anchor is named.

A.J. Clemente

“This is what I’m doing for now — I definitely need to make money for bills,” Clemente told RumorFix.

Clemente said he would begin his TV comeback after a summer of working at the watering hole which is using Clemente’s fame to draw customers. The bar’s marquee reads, “AJ CLEMENTE STRAIGHT FROM LETTERMAN TONIGHT BEHIND THE BAR.”

A station spokesperson confirmed the news with TVSpy, but would not comment on the reasons behind yesterday’s departure. The Charlotte Observer reported Balderas’ contract wasn’t up until later this year.

Balderas started at WCCB in 2010 and was named 10:00 p.m. anchor in 2011. Before coming to WCCB, he worked at KFOX in EL Paso, TX.

WCCB will become a CW affiliate in July after FOX bought Charlotte stations WJZY-WMYT in January.

Stacey Horst (right) will replace Fodor on the 5 pm. newscast. In her new role, Horst will continue to anchor the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside Kevin Cooney and chief meteorologist John McLaughlin.

Paula Lopez

According to station monitoring site TVEyes, Lopez worked the 6:30 p.m news on April 18, but was absent from the 11:00 p.m. show. Her co-anchor C.J. Ward told viewers Lopez had the night off. She hasn’t been on air since.

“I can tell you that KEYT and NPG continue to wish Paula well,” KEYT general manager Mark Danielson told Santa Barbara’s Noozhawk after saying he could not comment on an employee’s health or personnel issues. “I don’t have any information on when Paula might be able to return to work,” he added. continued…

Mario Machado

Machado joined KHJ (now KCAL) in 1967 and moved to KNXT (now KCBS) in 1969. According to CBS owned stations KCBS and KCAL, Machado was the first prominent Chinese-American newscaster in the US and the first in the LA Market.

After leaving work as a broadcaster, Machado played a newsman in films such as “Oh, God!” “Rocky III,” “Airport ’79,” “Scarface,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” and “Brian’s Song,” as well as working in three of the “RoboCop” films. He played himself in “Blue Thunder” and “Without Warning.”

Machado, was born in Shanghai, China to a Portuguese father and a Chinese-Portuguese mother. He played soccer in college and helped found the AYSO soccer league. He was 78. continued…

Susan Barnett

Barnett said in a statement, “I have decided to not renew my contract with the stations at this time. I am incredibly thankful for having been a part of the CBS Philly family, but I feel that this is the right decision at this time.” You can read the statement after the jump.

“Lee’s first love was always radio,” WLEX news director Bruce Carter told the Herald-Leader. “He was in radio before he started here, and I think it’ll be a great thing for him.”

Cruse, who anchors the morning and midday newscasts, is also a stand-up comedian who travels the country performing at comedy clubs and colleges. He will join WVLK-590 AM as the 10:00 a.m. to noon anchor on May 1.

Janner will join the morning newscast alongside anchors Beth Fisher and Casey Smith, meteorologist Mike Tsolinas and traffic reporter Micah Manalo. She will also co-anchor the 11 a.m. newscast alongside Smith.

O’Rourke posted a goodbye to his facebook page Tuesday saying, “Dear friends, thank you all for your friendship and wonderful support. Not by my own decision, I am leaving KTSM. I love El Paso and I wish you all the very best in your lives. God bless you and your families, now and always.”
