Christine Dorfler has been named chief financial officer for the NBC owned-and-operated stations, the company announced today.
Dorfler has worked for NBC Universal for a decade in a variety of different roles, most recently as vice president of vice president of finance at WNBC, the O&O in New York, and Telemundo. She will report to president of the NBC-owned stations Valari Staab.
“Christine has an exceptional reputation among her peers at our stations for being a leader with strong financial skills and an emphasis on achieving results,” Staab said in a statement. “She’s also highly regarded as a particularly good manager.”
In her new role, Dorfler will have financial oversight of the 10 NBC O&Os nationwide. She will start this week.
