Cleveland Meteorologist Freaks Out About Miami Heat Championship During Forecast
WEWS meteorologist Mark Johnson couldn’t contain his frustration after local hero turned villain LeBron James won his first NBA championship Thursday night.
Johnson broke from his forecast during the ABC-affiliate’s late newscast following the game to rant about the outcome (and it was difficult for the weathercaster to avoid the topic considering that the teams were the Heat and the Thunder).
“Light rain downtown, no thunder. Son of a gun, we could have used some thunder,” Johnson said (video after the jump).
At one point, sports director Andy Baskin walked over and tried to put his hand over Johnson’s mouth.
