Cubes: VIP Tour of Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal

Dow Jones got to keep its home in the Midtown Manhattan News Corporation building after the parent company divorced itself and split into separate print and broadcasting units. The publishing arm, housing the Wall Street Journal, kept the News Corporation name while the broadcast and entertainment part now calls itself 21st Century Fox.

Wendy Bounds,WSJ Editor and host of “Lunch Break,” showed the kids at mediabistroTV that everything’s going to be OK by giving them a tour of the multi-floored heart of Dow Jones.

The guys were greeted by one of the legendary standing receptionists, got as close to a Pulitzer Prize as they’re ever going to get, took a color-toned glimpse into the paper’s past with wall sized silkscreens of old newsroom photos and managed not to end up as gossip fodder on the twitter page of the lobby’s chandelier.
