Dan Carroll Named Morning Anchor At WKEF-WRGT
Dan Carroll has signed a three-year deal to be the morning anchor on WKEF-WRGT in Dayton, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Carroll has been filling in on the program since Pete Scalia left the station in September. He will be paired with co-anchor Meghan Mongillo to helm the 4:30 to 7 a.m. newscast on ABC-affiliate WKEF and the 7 to 9 a.m. newscast on Fox-affiliate WRGT. WKEF operates WRGT through a local marketing agreement.
Carroll was previously an anchor at WXIX, the Fox-affiliate in Cincinnati. He left the station in November 2010 after 17 years.
