Allen Cole, the stand owner, set up a surveillance camera to watch over his stand.  When the camera captured a suspected thief taking money out of a cash jar he keeps near his produce, he sent the footage to WBOC.

Reporter Ko Im told TVSpy she posted the footage on the station’s Facebook page and, “About 15,000 (people) saw the post and we got hundreds of comments/shares.  We got calls possibly identifying the man behind the theft at a produce stand – and by news time, police say they’ve got a suspect.”

A burglar who targeted gas stations in the Upper Merion Township area of Pennsylvania turned himself in at WPVI yesterday.

The Philadelphia ABC O&O ran surveillance video of the man, Anthony Thomas, burglarizing a gas station on Monday. Yesterday, Thomas arrived at the WPVI studios and identified himself as the man in the footage. continued…

Bezic previously worked for Accuweather as a bi-lingual meteorologist.  She’s also worked in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Topeka, and Chicago.
