Denver CBS Station Doesn’t Renew Greg Moody’s Contract

greg-moody2The Denver Post is reporting Greg Moody, “critic at large” for Denver CBS owned station KCNC will leave the station after his contract was not renewed.

The Post said news director Tim Wieland told Moody he could pick his departure date. Moody still reportedly has six weeks still left on his contract and is still on the air.

Moody told The Post, I’m gobsmacked.”

Moody started working in Denver as a “critic at large” in 1986 at KUSA. He moved to KCNC in 1988. His station bio reads, “Critic at Large Greg Moody was born in a Conestoga wagon on the eastern plains of Colorado in 1861. He is the son of General John Moody, Grand Exalted Poobah of the Order of Donuts, and Myrna Hatchfield, a sweet young girl heading West for her health.”
