A local TV news job can catapult talent in many different career directions, and for one former WCCB Charlotte anchor, that direction has gone viral.
Beth Troutman hosts “Right This Minute,” a viral video talk show airing on 161 stations across the country including HLN. She started out behind the camera working on TV classic “The West Wing,” later getting the political bug herself as a candidate for U.S. Congress. “That’s how I actually ended up in front of the camera; I ended up hosting a morning show for the Fox affiliate in North Carolina,” Troutman told TVSpy in an interview. “The great thing is when you have experiences that you’re open to it kind of informs you as a human being and makes you comfortable in your own skin.”
