Four Local Stations Score Obama Interviews
President Obama is doing another round of regional interviews today, sitting down with anchors from four stations — one each from Indiana, Nevada, Tennessee and Maine.
The anchors are Debby Knox, from WISH in Indianapolis; Jim Snyder; from KSNV in Las Vegas; Richard Ransom, from WREG in Memphis and Pat Callaghan, from WCSH in Portland. KSNV and WCSH are NBC-affiliates, and WISH and WREG are CBS-affiliates.
At least two of the stations – KSNV and WREG — are billing the interviews with the President as “exclusive.”
The interviews are closed press and will take place in the Map Room of the White House. After a 5 p.m.ET embargo expires, they will run on each respective station on the evening newscasts.
