KCTV meteorologist Iris Hermosillo is leaving Kansas City for her hometown of Phoenix, according to Bottom Line Communications.

It is not yet known which station Hermosillo will be joining. Her last day at KCTV, the CBS affiliate in Kansas City, will be Saturday.

Hermosillo joined KCTV in 2009 as weekend morning meteorologist and general assignment reporter. She is the co-host of “Que Pasa, KC,” the station’s recently-launched lifestyle show aimed at the Hispanic community.
