After just nine months at El Paso Fox-affiliate KFOX, Jacob Rascon has signed on for a move to Los Angeles: he will join NBC O&O KNBC later this month.

Rascon will be a multimedia journalist for KNBC, starting off at the Inland Empire bureau and eventually moving to the main office in Burbank, according to the El Paso Times. His first day will be January 27.

KFOX news director Liz O’Hara told the Times the move “continues our trend of sending our folks to large markets.”
