Multimedia journalist Jeremiah Jacobsen is joining the morning newscast at KARE, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis.

Jacobsen joins KARE after five years at WINK in Fort Myers, where he was most recently the weekend anchor and political reporter. The Minnesota native will begin at his new job on December 3.

Jacobsen will be working overnight to produce and edit the morning newscast. He will be anchoring the 4:30 a.m. newscast and will lead breaking news coverage during the 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. hours.
