julie tremmel_wjarJulie Tremmel, the WJAR reporter who was let go last week, has filed a grievance against the Providence, RI, NBC affiliate, a spokesperson for IBEW Local 1228 has confirmed with TVSpy.

“I was terminated without cause from WJAR and my Union and I are fighting it through the grievance and arbitration process in our Contract with the Station,” Tremmel told GoLocal Prov. “That is all I’m prepared to say at this time.”
