Keagan Harsha, Nichole Ayoub Join KDBC-KTSM
KDBC-KTSM in El Paso is welcoming one new anchor, Keagan Harsha, and one returning anchor, Nichole Ayoub, to the newsroom.
Harsha joins the stations after five years at WCAX in Burlington, while Ayoub makes a return to the station after leaving two years ago after her three sons were born.
According to a statement announcing the hires, the new additions will “mean some changes for KTSM and KDBC as the stations move to take the newscasts in new directions.”
Ayoub will return to the 10 p.m. newscast on KDBC, which is currently anchored by Adrienne Alvarez. Alvarez will move to KTSM, where she will co-anchor the evening newscasts with Harsha.
Dan O’Rourke, who currently anchors KTSM’s evening newscast, moves to weekends at the NBC-affiliate, where he will be paired with multimedia journalist Jacqueline Crea. Amber Downing, who currently anchors that broadcast, will be moved to the 5:30 newscast on KDBC, the CBS-affiliate.
