Doug Miller, who has been with KHOU since 1993, has returned to reporting–a position that he left a few years ago to become executive editor at the CBS-affiliate.

“I’m happy to say I’m back on the streets chasing news,” Miller told mikemcguff.com recently. “I couldn’t stand sitting in the newsroom all day. I gave up the fancy executive title and started reporting again.”

In 2007, KHOU promoted Miller to executive editor. He began reporting again in earnest over the summer.
