KOAA Expanding in Colorado Springs
Colorado Springs NBC affiliate KOAA is planning to double the size of its broadcast facilities by the end of 2013, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette:
KOAA recently bought a nearly 25,000-square-foot building at 5520 Tech Center Drive on the Springs’ northwest side. KOAA will occupy the entire two-story building, which it will gut and remodel into offices and state-of-the-art broadcast facilities, said Joany D’Agostino, the station’s marketing director. The purchase and remodeling will cost about $5 million.
By November or December, she said, the station will move to that building from 11,000 square feet it leases in a portion of a building at 530 Communication Circle on the city’s west side.
