Kristin Kane, reporter for Houston FOX affiliate KRIV is leaving the station, a FOX spokesperson confirmed with TVSpy.

While FOX gave TVSpy no reason for her departure, Houston blogger Mike McGuff wrote on his blog,

The (FOX Television Stations) gave me no reason for her departure, but with an upcoming wedding, we can guess that’s playing a major part.

A few months ago, Kane spoke to mikemcguff.com about her fiance,  “We’ve been together 5.5 years, half of that has been long distance.  Tom lives up north, but we’ve been able to make it work. We see each other every two weeks. Talk about a lot of traveling! I’m so tired of getting on planes unless it’s for vacation.”

Before coming to Houston, Kane worked at South Florida’s WSFL and at WICU-WSEE in Erie, PA.
