KTTV Seeks Director of Broadcast Operations

If you’re an experienced engineering manager in the Los Angeles area, we have the perfect opportunity for you. KTTV is looking for a new director of broadcast operations to join its team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for supervising on-air and production operators and RF engineers. You’ll be the point person for all employee issues, including hiring, discipline, employee meetings and personnel actions. Are you comfortable with being on call in case of a technical issue? Good, because you’ll be handling those situations, as well as staffing and equipment concerns.

To be considered, you’ll need 5-10 years of engineering management experience. You should be comfortable working under deadline and managing budgets, while complying with strict FCC, EAS and HSHA regulations. Those with strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office should apply here.
