Kurt Ludlow Says Goodbye to WBNS

Kurt Ludlow said goodbye to WBNS after 23 years Friday.

“I can’t tell you what I’m going to do next, because the truth is, I don’t know,” the anchor for the Columbus, OH, CBS affiliate said in his on-air goodbye. “But once I have it figured out I’ll share it with you on facebook and twitter.”

Viewers have already taken to the internet in an effort to bring Ludlow back. A “Boycott WBNS 10TV Until They Bring Back Kurt Ludlow” page has sprung up on facebook with 703 likes as of this writing. That page is linked to a petition on change.org telling WBNS, “I’m asking you to please revisit your decision before it’s too late and you fall in your ratings by more people following my suit.”

Ludlow first started at WBNS in 1986 as a reporter. He left in 1999 to work at KPTV in Portland, OR, and came back to WBNS in 2003.
