KYW Reports Producers Were Concerned About Kim Delaney Taking the Stage Before Her Speech on WPVI

Actress Kim Delaney made a rambling speech at a ceremony honoring former defense secretary Robert Gates on Thursday night and the video, which originally aired on Philadelphia’s WPVI, is making the rounds today.

In addition to grabbing national headlines and sparking blog speculation, Delaney’s shaky appearance was covered by all four major Philadelphia news stations today and WPVI currently has the video posted on its homepage.

CBS O&O KYW reports that, in the moments before her appearance, some of the event’s producers may have questioned whether Delaney was fit to take the stage.
