Lexington’s WKYT Unveils an Updated Set

Picture 3

So, it would seem exposed brick is in. Lexington CBS affiliate WKYT has updated its set with plenty of brick, picking up on a trend that can be seen in sets at broadcast and cable networks and several local stations.

Newscast Studio describes the new look as a “refresh” built upon the existing studio, but overall a “large change” for the station:

The refresh builds upon the existing framework, adding new brick finishes to the walls, a vertical “window” monitor array and a modern desk. Many surfaces were also updated, adding wood finishes and some texturing.
