Lindsay Schwarzwaelder will be joining KXAS, the NBC owned station in Dallas, as weekend meteorologist.

She told viewers about the move on her her facebook page saying, “Hi all!  I just wanted to announce that this Friday will be my last day at LEX 18.  I have accepted a job at KXAS in Dallas, TX.”  You can see a screen grab of the post after the jump.

Schwarzwaelder comes to KXAS from the Lexington, KY NBC affiliate WLEX where she has been working since November 2010.  She began her broadcast career at WIVB in Buffalo, NY.
