There is a new managing editor at WFTV, the ABC affiliate in Orlando. Lisa Blegen will join the station from KTVT, the CBS O&O in Dallas, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Blegen steps into the role formerly held by Matt Parcell, who was promoted to news director at the station last month. At KTVT, Blegen was the executive producer of investigations and special projects.

“We are extremely excited to bring in someone with Lisa’s great investigative and hard news experience,” Parcell said.

The move is a return to Florida for Blegen, who spent 13 years as an investigative and executive producer at WTVT in Tampa before moving to Dallas in 2010.
