Miami CBS Station Has New AM News Anchor

makaula_croppedMiami’s WFOR has announced Walter Makaula will join the CBS owned station as co-anchor for “CBS4 News this Morning.”

Makaula will make his on-air debut one week after he joins the station on January 13.

“Walter is a multi-talented broadcaster who is equally skilled as a breaking news anchor and as a storyteller who reports on captivating human interest stories,” said WFOR VP and GM Adam Levy in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have him join our team.”

Makaula comes to WFOR from KSWB in San Diego, CA where he was an anchor. He has also worked at KHNL and KGMB in Honolulu, HI.
