Michael Goldrick Named VP of News at WRC
Michael Goldrick is joining WRC, the NBC O&O in Washington, DC as vice president of news.
Since 2009, Goldrick has been news director at WPXI, the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh. At WRC, he steps into the role that has been vacant since Camille Edwards left for WABC in July.
“Mike is a proven news leader who knows how to be competitive,” WRC general manager Jackie Bradford said in a statement. “I am very excited that our newsroom and our viewers will benefit from his experience, his creativity and his strategic thinking.”
Before joining WPXI, Goldrick held leadership roles at WHEC in Rochester, KOMO in Seattle, WSOC in Charlotte and KPRC in Houston. He will begin at WRC on November 26.
